Giving Animals a Second Chance at a Loving Home
Giving Animals a Second Chance at a Loving Home
The Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter is dedicated to protecting, caring for, and rehoming cats and dogs in need throughout Juneau County and surrounding communities.
Our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate shelter for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals while working to place them into responsible, loving homes. We believe every animal deserves dignity, care, and a second chance.
From lifesaving shelter care and adoptions to community education and partnerships, we work every day to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them.
Our shelter relies on community support for supplies, donations, and volunteers. Everyday items like laundry detergent, pet food, and cleaning supplies help us keep our animals healthy and comfortable.
If you are looking for a lost dog, please contact the Juneau County Sheriff's Department at 608-847-5649.
