MEET SHELBY, THE CWNAS MASCOT!
Shelby is a three legged dog who charms everyone she meets. Shelby serves as the CWNAS mascot and official greeter at Dogs Rule in Mauston. Shelby was found as a stray about a year ago and was brought to Dogs Rule with a badly injured front leg. In addition to her leg injury, she was very thin, matted, and afraid. Unfortunately, the leg could not be saved, but Shelby's spirit has helped her to adjust to life without a leg. Shelby is an example of the second chance that animal shelters can give to dogs and cats. Shelby loves meeting the children of Juneau County when she travels with the education volunteers to present a humane education program. She loves showing off her CWNAS bandana too!
