If you wish to bring your cat or dog to a CWNAS Spay or Neuter Clinic, please follow these guidelines:
* Must be a Juneau County resident
* Payment must be made when pet is delivered.
* The animal should be given no food or water after midnight on the day of the clinic.
* Cats must be delivered in carriers
Carriers should be lined with a thick layer of clean newspaper.
Please do not line carriers with blankets, towels, etc.
* Dogs must be leashed or in a carrier

Pets must be picked up by 2:00 P.M.

Cost: Male Dog $35.00, Female Dog $50.00, Male Cat $20.00, Female Cat $30.00
We also offer Rabies, Distemper, and Lymes vaccinations as part of the spay and neuter clinic. Rabies and Lymes vaccines are $10.00 each. Distemper vaccine is $15.00 each.
The Carl W. Nelson Shelter offers these clinics as a community service. The Carl W. Nelsn does not profit from these clinics. All fees go towards the cost of supplies and veterinarian services. Donations are always appreciated.
If you book an appointment at one of our spay and neuter clinics please remember that the clinics are very popular and we do have a waiting list. If you must cancel your appointment please call 847-4060 so that someone else may have your slot. These clinics are made possible by the hard work of volunteers. Please respect the volunteers who give many hours to the clinics and do not ask us to stay beyond the pick up time.
