Carrying on the legacy of Carl W. Nelson , the Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter is a 501c3 organization in Mauston, Wisconsin with a goal to build a modern, state-of-the-art, no-kill animal shelter for Juneau County's homeless animals. We are a non-profit organization with a mission to help homeless animals through our foster program, through community outreach programs and humane education programs . We have acquired land, we are holding fund raisers, building our membership base, and raising money for our future facility.
