Carrying on the legacy of Carl W. Nelson , the Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter is a newly organized group of individuals in Mauston, Wisconsin with a big dream for a modern, state-of-the-art,  no-kill  animal shelter for Juneau County's homeless animals.  We are a non-profit organization with a mission  to help homeless animals through our shelter and through community outreach programs .  We are in the start up phase for our shelter.   We have acquired land, we are holding fund raisers,  building our membership base, planning our future facility, and developing humane educational programs .  If you would like to be a part of our group, visit our volunteer page and our membership page WE NEED YOU!
